••Check-In••
Welcome to the Truth Behind the Lobby
You’ve arrived.
This is where the curtains are pulled back and the story begins.
What they polished in gold, I bled through in silence.
Now, I speak. And you’re invited to witness what they tried to bury.

Consent Under Contract
_edited_edited_edited.jpg)
It began inside the marble walls of Toronto Marriott Markham. Where luxury met illusion and where I met Joshua Fernandes.

He wasn't just a coworker and my manager. He was a slow burn lesson in control.

Between 2021 and 2023, affection became currency, and promises became debts. Over $15,000 left my hands, written in trust and never repaid.

Behind closed doors, consent blurred with pressure. Boundaries melted under the weight of charm, rank, and silence.

He fed on power and I mistook it for protection.

The Counsel Wears Red
I filed my Small Claims Court action for $25,663.98 CAD - the sum of my trust and my pain.

He responded with fiction: a false $10,000 repayment claim, drafted together and under the signature of his lawyer, Babak Vosooghi.

The evidence told another story and when I spoke out publicly, Babak sued me for defamation.

The same system they weaponized is now my stage. And every exhibit they file only folds deeper into my proof.

Brand Over Blood
Marriott knew.
They had the emails, the reports, and the warnings.

Rather than act, they promoted and relocated him while sending a lawyer, Jonathan Dye, to silence me.

But silence doesn't erase truth.
It only delays its arrival.
And that arrival has already begun in the courtroom.

Checkmate
Now the illusion is unraveling:

-
There are criminal charges against Joshua Fernandes.
-
There is a civil action against Marriott International.
-
And there is a defamation case from Babak Vosooghi, met with my Anti-SLAPP motion and a record of his contradictions.
What they tried to bury has bloomed in filings, affidavits, exhibits, and transcripts.

They built a velvet grave for their lies.
I built a monument, and now every room tells the story they thought they could erase.
